1v1 chat safety, the practical version

Just1v1 safety is the mix of three buttons and a few habits that let you end, block or report anyone in a one-on-one chat within a second. This page covers what each control does inside the chat, what a report sets in motion, what the other person can see about you, and the coin tricks worth ignoring.

  • Report and Block on every screen
  • Calls are not recorded
  • Adults only

Next, Block and Report: which one, and when?

All three controls live on the chat screen itself, so you never leave the conversation to use them. Next is for "not my kind of chat", Block is for "never show me this person again", and Report is for "a moderator should see this". Pick by how bad it was.

People mix them up, and the difference matters. Next is quiet and costs the other person nothing. Block changes what you will see later. Report is the only one that puts a human on the case.

NextCloses this chat and pulls up a fresh matchSilence, bad signal, no sparkThe chat ends, nothing more
BlockKeeps that account from reaching you againRude, pushy or just someone you never want backNothing; there is no notice
ReportOpens a short form: tick the reasons, add a line of description, attach a screenshot if you have oneThreats, scams, explicit content, anyone who seems underageNothing from you; any action comes from the moderation team

Report first, then Next. Once you have moved on, that person is off your screen, and it is easier to flag the right account while they are still in front of you.

What happens to someone you report?

The report goes to the moderation team with the reasons you ticked, your description, any screenshot and the details of that conversation. A moderator looks it over and settles on the response: a warning, limits on the account, or removal. From there the moderation team handles it.

Only adults may use Just1v1, which means 18 or older. If someone looks or sounds younger, report it straight away and say in the description what made you think so.

Want to add something after the fact, like a screenshot you took later? Email it in through the Contact Just1v1 page with the rough time of the chat and the other person's nickname.

What does the other person learn about you?

Your nickname and whatever you put in the frame, the mic or the text box. That is it. Guests start without a name, email or phone number, so there is nothing personal for the other side to look up. Even if you log in later, your sign-in details stay private to you.

So the leaks come from you, not the site. On camera, glance behind you before you start: a window view, a work badge, mail on the table. In text, keep back your surname, workplace, phone number, home area and social handles until you actually know someone, if ever.

The coin and gift tricks to ignore

Coins on Just1v1 are bought only through the site's own purchase screen, and they never buy a meeting in person. Anyone who asks you to top up somewhere else, pay them directly, or send gifts so they will "meet you" or "show you more" is running a script. Press Report, then Next.

  • "Recharge through my link, it's cheaper." There is no cheaper side door. A link like that collects card details or simply takes the money.
  • "Send me a gift and we can meet." Just1v1 does not arrange offline meetings, and no number of gifts changes that.
  • "Buy me coins and I'll call you back." Coins stay in the account that bought them. Nobody can hand them to you, and nobody needs yours.
  • "Pay me outside the app." Gift cards, transfers, crypto, voucher codes: all of these end the same way. Report it.
  • "I'm from Just1v1 support, confirm your password." Staff never ask for passwords, login codes or card numbers, in a chat or by email.

Live is different: in the Live tab of Who's online, gifts are sent through the room's own gift button, and that is the only gifting that exists. A request to pay anywhere else is a scam, whoever says it.

Does Just1v1 record your calls?

No. Video and voice calls on Just1v1 are not recorded, and there is no download or replay button for anyone. Text messages pass through our servers so they can reach the other person and so a report can be checked. The details sit in the Privacy Policy.

The honest limit: someone could point a second phone at their screen. Filming people breaks the rules and costs accounts, but no website can stop a camera in another room. If anyone threatens you with a clip, do not pay; screenshot it, report the account and go to local police. In the US, the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center also takes reports of this kind of threat.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Does the other person know if I block or report them?

No. Blocking and reporting are silent. From their side the conversation simply ends, the same as when anyone presses Next.

Can someone see my location on Just1v1?

Not from the service itself. The other person sees your nickname and whatever is in your camera frame or messages, so check what is behind you.

Someone asked me to buy coins through their link. Is that allowed?

No. Coins are only sold on the Just1v1 purchase screen. Anyone pushing another link or a direct payment is attempting a scam, so report them and move on.

Are video calls on Just1v1 recorded or saved?

No. Calls are not recorded and there is no replay or download feature.

Can minors use Just1v1?

No. Just1v1 is only for adults aged 18 and over. If anyone in a chat looks or says they are younger, report them so the moderation team can act quickly.
